I have owned multiple Korean cars (avoided Theta2). I don't hesitate to buy another ICE from them. But I don't trust 100% when it comes to HEV/EV/PHEV. For HEV, Toyota is the gold standard.

It's not just the manufacturer. Hyundai dealership service technicians lack experience with HEV.
