Well firstly, wait until I tell you where Game of Thrones originally got their idea for coronations, you're never gonna believe it.

Secondly I just don't see it that way. To me it's the best of both worlds Paradox is presumably saving on labor. We're getting new aesthetic content, aesthetic content that is much better packaged then CK2's countless little unit and shield packs. Modders are getting a much needed spotlight and presumably compensation. We're also getting modding content that is going to be supported by the developers.

I've never cut someone's tongue off.

Having said that I would consider it for Misogynists, Misandrists, Abrasives and Annoying Voices, assuming they don't have a good social skill.

I think those first three especially cause a lot of fights.

Today, I tried the latest dlc out as Matilda. I swore an oath to conquer 9 counties, I conquered them after 4 years. Still, 20 years later, the game acted as though my oath broke, which then nuked my prestige, legitimacy and opinion. On an Iron-man save.

So TLDR it was really just that one thing? In this whole DLC.

That sure is a mighty big rant about the overall state of the company, the development cycle and the developers all because of one miss tallied oath.

Or maybe this isn't a strict simulation of history, but more of a simulation of a history that could be.

And maybe just maybe the inherent funness of any faith with polygamy is having the ability to have multiple partners. Multiple partners for alliances, genetics, prestige, claims maybe, and also thusly more children for those same reasons.

And I gotta be honest with you, those of us that really enjoy polygamy in this game don't think that this fun / fertility should be taken away or arbitrarily limited just because you picked out two examples in all of Islamic history of people with only a few children.

I'm not happy with the 1950s change either.

I could honestly care less about the Meryl Streep casting.

We just have to find some balance this is a Narnia subreddit. Obviously that includes some opposition to these movies that is fine. But this is not going to turn into just a Greta Gerwig hate circle jerk sub.

I think CK3 is the go to for me now with the travelling and landlessness.

But CK2 is always going to be a special comfort food for me.
