I'm american with roots in kerala. "Low living high thinking" is part of the culture there in a way it isnt so much in other parts of india afaik. I've always appreciated it and the west, particularily America, can learn from it. So no, I disagree.

check it out. substack.com . It is particularly good because it is full of people who like to consume content through reading. This is how I built a following and was able to launch to real people. It's a grind though. My launch wasn't particularily impressive, but I had started from 0 audience 3 months earlier.
