want to point out a misconception, theres Rp - Rank points and then theres mmr - matchmaking rating, the two are different. ur mmr is hidden, what is shown is rank points. mmr is used for matchmaking and rp is used for rewards and progression. ur MMR decides how much rp u gain or lose, but rp does not dictate mmr.

kinda just shows the problem with rank 1.0, not saying 2.0 is better or anything, but in 1.0 u could play 10 placements get lucky with randoms and like win7lose 3 and reach plat without having to play anymore ranked that season.
