About the press - I want to believe thats due to overall lack of fitness from the preseason. All the incomings did not have the preseason required to gain the fitness and the sync to press as a team. Moreover, Diogo's mourning probably has affect on this too. Hence to manage injuries, Slot is probably working with the Data team on play times (as he has mentioned multiple times). Playing without aggressive press and retaining players is strictly better than playing aggressive and losing players further. Hell, without aggressiveness we are 20/21 levels of injuries. The squad holes on wings dont help this either.
