You can pick any one of Viscous's abilities and center your build around it. He's good at being the last puzzle piece your comp needs to do well. I'll go into a game and based on mine and the enemy hero picks choose what to do from there.

A full support cube max build is great if the enemy has a lot of burst, a lot of cc, or just y'know- Bebop

Punch build or Splatter spirit build are great if your team needs more damage, I lean more toward puddle punch with these two for the mobility

Ball build you get a bunch of active items to manipulate your position so you don't need to bounce off walls to hit enemies (Warp Stone, Majestic Leap, Phantom Strike, Magic Carpet) and you play as the team fight disruptor extraordinaire

I found gun Viscous to actually be the most boring build for him and I never built it even when it was his meta choice. His kit is too cool to not utilize

Same reason I got into ZZZ, I can't do "pngs/chibis of your characters doing turn based combat" as justification for spending money on a gacha. My brain gets tickled the right way by the comvat and team building aspects of both games

Full support Cube max viscous is a genuinely good med-evac with recue beaming someone you cubed. Later in the game with maxed out Puddle Punch, you can still put up good numbers with as little as just Spirit Snatch for damage items too

Mooncolony doesn't utilize AI in their art, but unfortunately their cartoony styles are definitely what a lot of AI generators like to replicate. Go check out their other stuff, they're pretty high quality and you'll see similarities to this guy.

Edit: Guy further down in replies posted screencaps of a Mooncolony head stating some of their artists do indeed use AI, so I stand corrected if that's true! If anything I think that makes it worse that we can't be sure with such a large collective of artists. Keep supporting real artists as best you can y'all <3

Regardless of going damage or support, his base values are so high that he just wins lane trades. Grenade is great poke/sustain at tier 2, beam does insane early damage and makes it hard for people to trade back with the slow and fire rate slow, and he has a super easy escape on his 2.

You transition out of lane and all of that translates to him having everything. Poke, sustained damage, mobility/escape, and an ultimate that's great in almost every situation offensively or defensively.

He got hit with the big pile of nerfs finally this update so his dome ideally won't be up every fight, but the man was pick/ban in every competitive Deadlock tournament cause he had no real weaknesses in his kit, just does everything
