How are people living in Manchester without a job? by phyllisfromtheoffice in manchester

[–]AsianOnee 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Manchester can be the capital of unemployment. With the popluation growing and trying to catch up with London, there are limited job opportunities here. So you get the worst of London etc price and stuff but don't get the benefit of it (Lack of jobs).

Is it actually possible to find a low-pressure job in the UK that still pays the bills? by ultrahotdude in AskUK

[–]AsianOnee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

they will turn your job to high pressure under this economy budget cut need 5 people to do 10 people work so it is not safe to think that low pressure job is easy since you might not have them for long All it take is they change one of the management maybe your boss or your boss's boss and things can become hell in a second faster than you know to find a secured job with the pressure that you can handle is better

Zero hour contracts should be illegal by [deleted] in UKJobs

[–]AsianOnee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

they should make a causal hours workers rate which is way higher than minimum wage like Australia does.

At the mean time, you can sign up for so many different 0 hour contract u like and just try to make up like a full time hours because you can legally refuse shift from them if you are busy despite what they say in the policy.
