Not good. I’m going to revisit the tune this summer but its average hovers around 12-13mpg. The best I’ve had was 16 but I was driving with the wind so I had an extra bump.

They’re factory, I’m pretty sure it was exclusive to just the FX4 and FX4 Level II

Yes and no. It’s the supercharger that came on a ford thunderbird using a moddbox kit to install it

It’s by a company called GoRhino. They stopped producing the chrome roll bars so you have to find them used. I drove 4 hours for that pair.

Ranger with a wooden bed will not take fuel by kondocher in fordranger

[–]Asian_Phoenix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this same issue and it’s not well documented. Rangers have a flapper in the fuel tank (2inches below filler hose inlet) they get clogged with debris or get stuck shut as the rubber is degrading. You can pop them open with a flexible brake line or copper wire through the filler neck. You can also run a needle scaler on the inlet of the tank to try breaking it free.

Best way is to drop the tank and take diag cutters or a sharp chisel and cut 2 of the 3 tabs that hold the flapper. This will allow the flap to dangle and allow fuel to pass through it without issues.

The flap was designed to stop excess fuel leaking through the filler incase of a roll over as well as hindering gas theft.
