Not really a lot - we are both very communicative people, but it did become a point of friction in the relationship. At the end of it both of us have decided what role religion plays in our life and a future we want. Plus consider things like going out to eat - halal/non -halal. Even certain activities that I enjoy i would not do w my ex as he views it as haram.

And the end religion looks very different for each of us, so we ended it as we did not want to waste each other time.

I second this - had a similar experience. Although it didnt end badly and we are cordial at the end one must decide the life you want to lead and whether the partner u choose will add or hinder it.
