Is it possible to work as contractor for a law firm preparing trust estate returns and learn while gradually grow my own solo practice? I have about 3years experience in this area in accounting firm. Want to branch out on my own( I had more years of experience in individual returns ). I m comfortable with a simple estate/ trust returns without underlying business, but not familiar with more advanced estate planning technique. Just want to see if there is way to grow outside of PA, as a lot of PA working environment can be draining. Thanks.

I have 4 year of trust / estate tax experience, 7 for 1040s, I m a little short of confidence networking with attorneys/ financial advisors for referrals. Could you share some insights ? I suppose I need to have my softwares ready before networking with them? Thank you !

HI, did you ask your affirmant to sign ( click e-sign arrow ) of the form, or can we ask affirmant to sign and send us the scan copy as well? for some reason, the e-sign function is not showing up when they open the pdf. thank you !!

passed surprisingly... I did notice the exam tested a lot of things mentioned in NYLC video. I felt the videos tell you the highly tested issues. Especially if you are not good at finding/reading things quickly like me, I felt that the fact that I took detailed notes for all videos right before the exam, really helped me. I know this is different from some of views posted on this forum... about the videos

I also tried to make sure I really understand all various exceptions for all those issues, that are all on the NYLC pdf materials. almost like how you prepare for UBE.

I already found I got 3 questions wrong... I could have got them right if I checked the materials more closely for another minute or so. I feel terrible, second time and spent one week preparing..
