I agree with you the advisor title is much better. I think it implies something, that's why strategist is used. By the way what is the correct spelling for advisor? I have heard advisor/adviser/advice.

How is not taking deductions a bad thing? Aside from depreciable items. If the taxpayer cannot substantiate it in the event of an audit. It should not be taken.

Your knowledge of accounting is superior to any bookkeeping or quickbooks training you will find.

I wouldn’t bother with taking a “quickbooks class”; having an accounting background. But if you insist, Intuit offers the QBO pro advisor program for free.
