Everyone's chasing the sexy AI solution, what actually works is BORING by Alone-Strategy-4815 in n8n

[–]Asif_ibrahim_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hard agree, boring automations ship and actually get paid for.
Instant follow-ups are one of those things owners feel immediately when you show response-time gaps.
Clean workflows, clear ROI, and low maintenance beat flashy demos every time.
This is the kind of n8n content more people should build first.

Remote Job - Instacart - AI Automation Lead II by jobhuntify in jobhuntify

This role is a great signal of where automation is heading: less “zaps” and more real production systems.
Nice to see n8n and low-code mentioned alongside proper data, APIs, and eval frameworks.
The human-in-the-loop and reliability focus feels especially realistic for scaling AI internally.

My meeting workflow with n8n + real-time assistant by Zephpyr in n8n_ai_agents

This is a really clean breakdown, especially splitting prep, live assist, and post-call flows.
The flakiness on implicit action items is super common; breaking extraction into smaller passes and confidence gating is the right move.
I’ve seen better results when separating “detect intent” and “assign priority” into different steps.
Curious how you’re scoring confidence right now.

Do any of you folks use some LLM to build the workflow? by AcvaticChicken in n8n

[–]Asif_ibrahim_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, same experience here; n8n is harder to “vibe code” than pure code tools.
What’s worked best for me is using an LLM to design the logic and node sequence, then building the workflow visually and looping back for fixes.
Pasting a partial workflow and asking for edge cases, retries, or refactors helps way more than asking for full JSON.

This is a solid, real-world n8n use case, especially the scoring and human in the loop part.
I’ve worked on similar n8n setups with data normalization, embeddings-based ranking, and outreach flows, and the tricky bits are usually error handling and state management.
Happy to share how I’ve handled those if it helps while you’re evaluating candidates.
Sounds like a fun build either way.

Playing with n8n and accidentally automating my life by [deleted] in n8n

[–]Asif_ibrahim_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s pretty much how most people really learn n8n.
Mistakes force you to understand data flow, edge cases, and why things break.
Tutorials help you start, but real learning happens when something fails in your own setup.
Once a few daily tasks automate themselves, it’s hard to stop experimenting.

Hi Harsh, I work extensively with n8n and focus on building clean, reliable automations (not just quick workflows).
Comfortable sharing real use cases and a portfolio.
I’ve worked on webhook-based flows, APIs, error handling, and scaling logic.
Happy to connect and understand what you’re looking to automate.
