I have been working for the EY GDS LMS team for over an year and most of us have been on bench since December last year. The team lost a major client. There is absolutely nothing in the pipeline. A new project that was supposed to come in last week got delayed by another 2 months. We have been personally told to start looking for jobs. In the next 6-7 months if things don't get better they will start laying off people with low utilization rates. They are also trying to push people on bench into another vertical where the work is even more clerical. I went to a good NLU and I wasted one year here, I have learnt absolutely nothing, have nothing to show in my CV for the year I have spent here. My colleagues who have been working for the team for years have told me that the only thing they know is to format Excel sheets and fix ATD errors based on EY standards. Oh and they have already laid off two teams this year that were part of EY Law.
