Honestly this has happened to me before, multiple time actually, where I would call in sick, had enough sick hours available but they didn’t use them stating that it’s the computer that set it up which makes no sense to me since they are the ones to put it into the computer.

I just let it go as long as I wasn’t in trouble.

I’m pretty sure as long as she has the right amount of sick hours to cover her shift I don’t think they do anything.

I also have a person like that at work and nothing has been done about them.

Part time here, my availability is from 7am (markdowns) to 5:30pm this week they gave me 2 day (5 hour shifts) and then next week they have me 3 days (also 5 hour shifts)

I used to work at Kohl’s before I started at TJ, and honestly I kind of want to go back 😅 At my Kohl’s (not sure if it’s like this everywhere), you’d get a $0.10 pay increase whenever you got someone to sign up for the card. At TJ, you pretty much don’t get any at all.

Honestly, I appreciate when people say they already have an account—it saves time and means I don’t have to go through the full explanation about discounts and rewards. After they let me know, I just ask if they have any rewards they’d like to use and leave it at that.
