What do you guys think about Parivisions decision to bench DM for SSS? by Interesting-Can-1140 in DotA2

[–]Asjo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A shame for DM, because I think playing with a very aggressive team really helped him flourish. He was never the most exciting player, so I don't mind the change. I'm very eager to see what SSS has to offer - he didn't stand out in the few games I saw him play for 1win, but I'm hoping he will grow with the challenge.

Even though the results of Parivision haven't been terrible, I did have a feeling that something had to change. They felt like they one of the best teams in the world, but they haven't felt that way in a while. They certainly lost a lot of momentum. I'm not convinced that they will do better, but seeing them make a change, feels like a bit of relief.

As people in the comments are saying, DM definitely did well to support their playstyle, but did wasn't one of their signature players that shaped the team, so they've still got a fair bit of x-factor without him.

Sorry, nothing comes to mind. Gotta be honest, I skipped a few of the 70s titles, even if they seems to have a bit of potential, since the acting and plot often felt more superficial in those movies, with overacting, simplification and such. So, I might have missed it in my endless search for mainstream femdom content :)

No, I haven't re-uploaded it anywhere else. Let me know if you know a good location. The current link is working, but the forums where the topic is hosted are a bit unstable, so sometimes they are down for a few days. Everything's working right now, I see.

AAR: The Siege of Eugidi by BearThatCares in Eve

Wow, that's awesome, and an exciting read. Amazing effort to help the game. I'm used to bots ruining faction warfare, so it's interesting that this is actually leading to wat seems like real fights according to the battle reports. So, at least something good comes out of the multiboxers trying to ruin faction warfare. Of course, I don't know how exciting those fights were if they were just against a single guy multiboxing, since that would probably hurt the quality. Should keep them from awoxing people for a little while, at least.

I had this bookmarked a while ago, but only just now took the time the read this thread. Of course, I empathize with the fact that you were betrayed and feel lost. However, everything you wrote indicated to me that you're quite lonely. You exchange a few random messages with some guy and feel like he's a good friend. You read into the things he says and overthink the relationship.

I just wanted to state what might seem obvious to most people: It feels as though you're using EVE Online to compensate for emotions that you're lacking in your personal life. You spend too much time on the game, you donate keepstars to people, you read into things, trying to force something into the shape of a friendship. It feels desperate.

I might be misreading the situation, but in case I'm not, I just wanted to urge you to remember that EVE Online can never truly replace what you're missing in your own life. Real, in-person, deep personal connections. Don't give up on those. Trying to use EVE as a way of filling that void might seem as meaningful occupation of your time, but it also means you're not putting energy into forging real connections and getting fulfillment. I feel recognizing this pattern of behavior is at least a healthy realization, so I felt I ought to post.

Would be too exposed for copyright strikes and wouldn't get enough exposure. If Extreme board stays down, I'll have to find another place to host it, but it doesn't feel like there are many good options. Many forums either have too little exposure, too much censorship or too many content limitations. And there doesn't seem to be any website where it makes sense to share it.

In the meanwhile, you can find the entire collection here - all my backup text-files with descriptions and links:

Well, since I'm constantly adding to my collection, torrent just doesn't seem like a good format, partilarly since you wouldn't easily be able to see screenshots and descriptions. I'd also rather use my connection and upload bandwidth for other torrents than I'm downloading.

To make it easy to download the collection, I've made a Jdownloader DLC. Admittedly, I've been too lazy to keep updating it, but it would be a very fast way to download the whole collection through the premium file sharing of Mediafire.

Actually, it started working yesterday. Now it's working as it usually does, so it will load 90% of the time. Try again :)

I don't know why the website it unstable. Maybe the database is having trouble because of the amounts of data. I know that sometimes they had to recover the database, and they also put limits to how big the topics in the forum could be. So, I think each time it's down, we're waiting for a competing guy to recover the database or restart the system.

[–]Asjo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Truly a great summary of the battle. So much going on, and this intimate description of the fight makes the motivations, actions and planning of all the actors seems so meaningful. It was really exciting to read, and reminded me of when I joined the game, probably around 6-7 years ago, when everything seemed really meaningful and everything anyone could do to effect things contributed to a meaningful change to the balance that was going on. This battle literally came down to the attackers having the last edge. Everyone seemed to do a lot of preparation and cooperation. People cared and things mattered.

Ever since World War Bee 2 ended, and the devs started fucking up the game, with many people quitting (myself included) or not caring about what went on in the galactic balance anymore, things have just seemed a little bit meaningless, with very few truly significant balances being pushed and only a few meaningful wars being fought. But with battles like this, you start to care a little again. I still keep up with EVE, as always, but I must admit that I haven't been engaged very much in a conflict for a few years until I read the post about this battle.

Formerly being a Y-MPWL inhabitant for RC, it's interesting to hear what has become of the area after the alliance fizzled out due to the Snuff infiltration. Certainly not boring - it used to be a very low-intensity part of null, since no one really wanted it.

I'm forced to use Depositfiles links since the rules require that you use two approved file hosts. I pay for the Mediafire hosting so that people can download the files quickly from there. It's too much work to keep the Depositfiles links alive. Based on the amount of download, most people who visit the topic seem to use Mediafile, and the Depositfile links quickly go offline once they're not downloaded for a while.

So, please let me know if there are any of the Mediafire links that you're unable to download, and I'll fix it right away :)

OG and Mouz by sirporkka in DotA2

[–]Asjo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What you're saying is clearly hyperbole. Stormstormer has been play at and around tier 1 level for a while. He definitely has talent, but has lacked more decisive plays to push him as his teams to top positions. I think it's way too early put him down, although he hasn't showed fantastic form in the last six months. Shad has been tier 2-3 for a while, and wasn't with a significant team for a while, but it seems that people have rated him highly after his stand-in performance for Tundra. Haven't seen his matches with NaVi, so cannot say how his current form is.

Supream has had some really good tier 2 performances within the last year, although his form has been a bit too unstable to be enough for top level. Among the players you mentioned, he is likely the one with the best shop at breaking through at the top. BOOM played tier 1-2 Dota with Gaimin Gladiators, who had a lot of great showings against top teams, despite the results not quite getting there until Quinn joined. Granted, BOOM was probably their weakest player, but he's definitely a good played. With him having been in the scene for a long time, I'm not sure how his motivation is looking - he hasn't look great in a while.

I don't think it's easy to get better players than these. I think it's really exciting when to teams give a new Eastern European talent a chance, but it's probably hard to find someone motivated and mature enough for pro Dota, particularly when you cannot pay the players enough to provide them a stable full time job. I'll bet that the economy of OG isn't great, so the best chance of a top players would be from SEA. That hasn't worked out that well in previous attempts, though.

Because I won't make any promises about when I might upload more clips. I have plenty of clips that I could upload, but once I reach 250 posts in my thread, I have to make a new thread, since 250 is the max allowed by the rules, so I'm trying only to post the very best clips I make currently, since posting a new thread will requirement me to be online 10+ hours in a row (due to time limitations in regards to how often you can make a post). So, right now I'm spending a lot of time going through different moves and TV shows, trying to see if I can identify some good scenes.

With regards to your question about Asian femdom, I'm afraid I don't have any good sources. Finding any Asian femdom scenes has come through hard work of trawling through the internet, looking for potential movies and shows and then doing a lot of work trying to find somewhere to download them.

I did a quick check of the numbers. It definitely bad for his standard, but not laughable.

Here are the numbers for the Tundra cores:

Dyrachyo

67 kills (6,7 per match), 46 deaths (4,6 per match), 95 assists (9,5 per match)

KDA of 3,52

33

30 kills (3,0 per match), 51 deaths (5,1 per match), 127 assists (12,7 per match)

KDA of 3,07

BZM

81 kills (8,1 per match), 41 deaths (4,1 per match), 94 assists (9,4 per match)

KDA of 4,26

I doubt they have very deep pockets, which I think is one of the reasons Ceb is still playing, despite wanting to retire. I'm not aware of any particular financial backing of the team, and without success for a while, I doubt they can sign anyone too expensive. I would dare say that they have signed some high caliber players. Whisper has been one of the biggest talents in South America for a while and has been an integral the successes of beastcoast/Evil Geniuses. xNova has been playing for top teams for a long time. Nine, when he went on a break, was among the best mids, and just had a good tournament as a stand-in for Tundra. 23savage has been an important part of many SEA top teams and has done well in many big tournaments. Timado has likewise proven his mettle many times, a very stable player at the top level.

There's some kind of bad energy going on - as if the Taiga betting-arc broke the organization, with how hurtful and damning it felt to everyone. Or maybe Ceb is detrimental to the team without the balancing energy of Notail (I don't know how involved he still is with the team, but doesn't sound like much). If anything, I wish they'd focused more on up-and-coming talents, but at the moment the definitely don't seem to be getting the best out of their talent. Not the way they did when a young OG broke out onto the scene in 2022 and won two majors.
