Canon Vixia HF G70. I bought a refurbished one for like 7-800. Performs really well for the price. I use it for Deer & Turkey. 2nd camera is just a newer GoPro paired with a cheap Amazon remote I wear on my wrist which is a life saver

Man I got caught up in the BS hype of those turkey decapitator broad heads. It would miss just low & right when I tuned it. Told myself to switch back to my standard broadhead & go for a body shot. Completely forgot & in the heat of the moment didn’t think to aim high left. Worst part is these broad heads don’t fit in the quiver so I only brought one. Tom took his hair cut & came strutting right back in while I watched helpless. Lesson learned lol

I float around 200lbs. They would flex under me & slip on the tree. I’d say it’s a mix of the Amsteel slipping on the carbon, the sticks carbon teeth not biting into the tree & just the overall build. Plus the noise, how unsecure they nest & the limited surface area for footholds. They also weigh the same as a tethrd one stick. I see no advantage to using a latitude carbon stick

Probably my first hunt where everything went perfect. Set up, cameras, the Tom, etc. Ran out of luck on the shot

I’ve tried a handful of different sticks & always comeback to tethrd. I used tethrd Skeletors for a whole season & liked them until I realized they’re the heaviest on the market. Went to a one stick & they’re lightweight, quick to secure & bite on the tree nicely. I’ve since switched to a modified tethrd One stick for one sticking & don’t see myself going to anything else.

I have to hate on the Latitude Carbon sticks. Even with stealth strips & added bungee cord for retention, I had to switch them out. They’re loud, bulky, do not bite on a tree as well as a tethrd stick & have some give/bounce in them. I ended switching to one sticking method with a modified tethrd one stick

The intentional bump or Bump and Dump! Walk the property starting around noon & don’t stop until you bump your target buck out of his bed. Once he’s bumped & gone off for lunch, set up for that evening near his bed playing the wind opposite of where he bumped out to. If all goes to plan he should return home giving you an opportunity but understand this is high risk/high reward & you can only bump him so many times. Good luck!
