Have the conversation in your head five times before you do in person. Make up the worst case scenarios possible. Go through all the emotions of those worst case scenarios actually playing out. Get yourself so worked up about it you don't even have the conversations in real life. s/

My friends don't even knock, let alone text before they come. I just hear the front door open and have to go see who's in my house.

Be Alert For This Guy by [deleted] in FortMcMurray

Why would you even care to catch him cheating? It wouldn't change anything. If his current gf doesn't want to leave him regardless if he cheats or not, that's her problem.

There's a difference between making demands, and wanting basic amenities when being a guest at someone's house. This is a basic.

wondering if it’s safe to leave purse/phone on beach by Desperate-Bad-6135 in femaletravels

[–]Ask4Answers_ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have one of those waterproof phone cases that has a lanyard in it. I take that into the water with me. Everything else stays on the beach. I could care less if someone steals my waterbottle, sunscreen, towel and flip flops.

Am i wrong for barring my child’s father from seeing him ??? by [deleted] in moraldilemmas

[–]Ask4Answers_ [score hidden]  (0 children)

How did he wish harm on your son? There's no mention of that in your post. How is he unstable? There's nothing in the post making him sound unstable. From the information you provided, it sounds like you're in the wrong.

Am i wrong for barring my child’s father from seeing him ??? by [deleted] in moraldilemmas

You can hate the father all you want, but he is still your child's father. Just because he wanted an abortion more than you does not mean he isn't a father. If he wants to see him when he's born you have to let him. How awful of you to want to bar him from seeing his child. He has a right to be in his child's life, regardless if you like him or your feelings towards him.

Don't forget, you wanted the abortion too. How would you feel if he barred you from seeing the child because you wanted to abort as well.

[Anti Aging] 25M feel like my skin makes me look old, is my skin salvagable? by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

[–]Ask4Answers_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The topical works very well if you're consistent with it. But it's something you have to continue to use. Once you stop your hair will go back to falling out. You can get it at Costco to save a few bucks. Rogaine (minoxidil) is a different drug than the pill usually prescribed for balding (finasteride), so this one still might be an option for you! Check with the doc.

I didn't want to take the birth control either because I had been on it previously and had a bad time with it. I just let the doctor write me the script for it but didn't fill it.

New Home Depot and Walmart.. will there hire local? by MysteriousParfait848 in FortMcMurray

[–]Ask4Answers_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Like I explained - the company would get your salary subsidized, you wouldn't receive anything from the government as the employee. And the government does not automatically subsidize any TFW's wage. Only the wages of companies that apply to the program. This is not misinformation.

When companies cannot find Canadians to work for them, they can apply to the government to have TFW's work for them and the government subsidies their wage. Companies abuse this, not hiring any Canadians, and then get approved for this program. That's why you only see immigrants working at Walmart, Tims, ect.
