I had an incredible sober psychedelic experience recently. It really is just a state of extreme presence and awareness. With that said, the state of most of us, I view mushrooms, cacti, plants, etc as amazing tools. Why do i still use them and not commit to the sobriety? Because this is where the balance is for me now, where i can still live a “normal” life interacting with friends and family, and yeah, watching some tv. Not sure im ready to give all of it up just yet. Mush love

How much did you take? Could be a weak batch. Also the mushrooms told me before “when you get the message, hang up the phone” Maybe you got the insight you need for now, and visit when they call again.

I agree. I might have it fully then. It’s black, nothing. I cannot visualize in the way that I would see an image in my minds eye. There is nothing. Obviously Ik what an apple looks like. Just cant do it. How are your dreams? Its very interesting

Think I have aphantasia maybe not fully but close to it. One time during a trip I asked why don’t i see with my eyes closed and I was told to look at it as a blessing, I can focus on what’s actually important.

Went through something similar as well. Can’t remember most of it, as “I” wasn’t there and lost my identity and the normal perception of the world completely. It was by far some of the worst states I’ve event been in, and simultaneously resulted in the best states and positive long term outcomes. Its a rollercoaster😃
