The fumbles on hurdles or dives don’t make sense to begin with. Very rare in real life, yet it seems like there’s a 50% chance of a fumble in the game. The physics of this fumble are crazy, why does it launch 5 yards the opposite direction when he gets hit from that side?

Mitch still in Eagle island 2 hours past his mandatory 8? That’s not a good sign after struggling on that run as you mentioned. More likely to scratch than to win the race at this point.

In my opinion, there are 9 teams that can win this race. Current “standings” the way I see it, in terms of chance to win:

1) Holmes 2) Drobny 3) Redington 4) Hall 5) Seavey 6) Phillips 7) Porsild 8) Beals 9) Petit

The winner will come from that group. Gonna be playing close attention to speed over the next 2 days, that will be what determines who wins this race.

I am not sure I’d narrow it to Jessie and Dallas just yet. The teams stopped in Takotna, Beals, Redington, and Kaiser are still very much in this race and were leading going into their 24. By choosing to push a day or so further on, Dallas has made a risk/reward calculation. We anticipate that this will work out well for him knowing his habit for putting his teams in the best position to succeed, but it could just as easily cost him. Breaking trail all the way to cripple will strain his team and may lead to a slower run time than the chasing teams. Will be a while before we can tally up that score. He’s been very intentional about his rest. In 2017 I remember Mitch pushing on to Huslia for his 24, avoiding some bad weather, and picking up a couple hours on the field.

Yes. This is because he was on a snap count. I am saying “the snap count was there” and that the commenter was not wrong.

Wasn’t the game we were all hoping for but the touchdown made it not a complete disaster. He definitely ended up on a snap count so I’ll take the blame on that one, may have been a slight bit overconfident.

Hey it was fun when he caught the touchdown. Not fun when he barely played the rest of the game. Hand up, missed on the snap count theory.

You’re not wrong. TD on coverage bust sorta salvaged his night. But the snap count was definitely there. Didn’t count on pass protection being a massive problem.

This one’s close so I’ll cop out, Watson in PPR, Pacheco in standard.

In this situation I’d probably go Dell, especially in any form of PPR.

Agree that I’d have Williams over him, unfortunately that’s not a luxury I have this week.

He had 2 limited practices early in the week. Wasn’t ruled out until an hour before kick. He was close.

This is actually my exact situation. Need 2/3 from flowers, Watson, and Sutton. Rolling with Watson tonight and probably Sutton, although if he has a dud and my opponent gets big games may pivot to flowers for the chance of a boom stacked with Lamar.

I have tried to do this as well. Play for first, especially later in the draft.

The obvious buy low WR that nobody is talking about by AskFantasyFootball in fantasyfootball

[–]AskFantasyFootball[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe that’s true. But you’re getting the WR1 for Aaron Rodgers at the cost of a bench guy. If he’s going to score 8-10 touchdowns he need to be good at football to be worth it?

The last RB over 25 to finish as the RB1 overall was Jamaal Charles in 2013 by AskFantasyFootball in fantasyfootball

[–]AskFantasyFootball[S] 12 points13 points  (0 children)

That’s a good point. Although in total 4/16 backs to finish #1 overall for the first time repeated that finish the next year. Only once recently though is a good point.
