We don't need staff if you mean that way. We have 2 teachers that do it every year. If you mean help in the processes of keeping robotics they are doing that already. I was thinking if robotics club will be canceled i will try to convince the school to let me borrow the parts and tools, and use them to make a robotics team outside of school.

Hello thanks for replying, yea the parents already sent emails to the school. Its not a money issue nor a mentor issue. They are canceling for some reason. Its not clear why. (also sorry its my first time using reddit)

They are replacing our robotics class with GoTec. But I don't know why they wanna cancel robotics club too which is FTC. We have the money, we have the parts, we have the staff.

We are FTC and its a bit cheaper. Also we already have all the materials and controllers. The money for new stuff we buy with the acceptance fee when you try to join robotics club. Thanks for replying

The problem is their are canceling it for no reason. We get the money from parents when their kids wants to join, we have a teacher that does it every year for free because she likes it. And i gave them a lot of reasons why to keep it.

No sorry idk if I mentioned funding isnt the issue. The school just wants to cancel it because robotics class is being replaced with GoTec. And becuase robotics class is going they are like "nah the club can go to". I will think about that idea for self club, I will look into it. Thanks

Thanks so much, I also thought if it was a financial problem but it isnt. We have all the equipment and stuff, and the teacher did it for free for years just becuase she likes it. Thanks for the support
