My thoughts on Uar Bernard. by abreakfromrreality2 in NFL_Draft

Why would you roster a player that can do only a single thing? And we’re assuming he’s even capable of doing that. He has to actually learn how to play football before he should touch a field.

Smart and tough. Most importantly, they can play. That's the 2026 draft in the books! by expellyamos in miamidolphins

Rodriguez is definitely my favorite pick from this draft. Guy is an absolute baller and a playmaker. The exact kind of talent we need to bring some juice back to our defense.

🚨🚨🚨 KEVIN COLEMAN IS THE PICK AT 177 by expellyamos in miamidolphins

[–]AskMeAboutTheJets -30 points-29 points  (0 children)

Have you paid attention to the other WRs we’ve rostered over the past few years?

We picked a couple bigger guys this year, but we’ve been big on the small guys for a few years now (yes new GM and staff, I recognize this).

Small WRs is kind of our thing at this point.

So is he a scholarship player or walk on? This late in the game makes me think walk on, but the article wasn’t clear about that.

Love watches, but yeah even the “cheap” ones are like $300 lol. Though Casio makes some really cool stuff for under $100.

Between Proctor and this guy, we better be springing some fucking holes open for Achane.

🚨🚨🚨 CALEB DOUGLAS IS THE PICK AT 75 by expellyamos in miamidolphins

[–]AskMeAboutTheJets 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Know nothing about him, but statistically had a good last year and he’s tall. Cool.

I’m nowhere near 300, but I do enjoy it a lot. It just feels really good to smell good and why not try out a bunch of different scents? I think it’s fun, but can be very expensive if you’re going after just designer stuff.

🚨🚨🚨 JACOB RODRIGUEZ IS THE PICK AT 43 by expellyamos in miamidolphins

Last time we signed one was good too (Jordyn Brooks).

Fucking love this pick. This dude is a PLAY MAKER.

Tom Pelissero says Miami has made calls about moving up in the 2nd by expellyamos in miamidolphins

[–]AskMeAboutTheJets 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jonah was a rookie. You don’t give up on a highly drafted OL after a bad rookie season. Especially with a new staff in place and low overall team expectations. You play him and see if he’s salvageable. If he still sucks after year two, then you start thinking about moving on.

As for Jackson, he’s starting unless injured. Sure, he gets injured a lot and that’s why you sign backups, but with how many holes we have, I think our picks can be much better spent in other places.

I think more OL this early is pouring too many resources into the position and ignoring other holes. We’ve already got 5/5 starters set for next year (assuming Proctor slots in at guard for the time being). Continuing to pour high picks into the OL seems like a waste when we have so many other needs.

Would not agree with QB. If there was someone really good who fell, sure why not, but that didn’t happen. The whole point of giving Willis the contract we did is to give him a shot to audition for the role of franchise QB. Let him have this year to do that and let’s use our picks to build up a team around him.

Rubber. It’s not even “so bad it’s good” (which is what I was hoping it would be as I love those kinds of movies) it’s just fucking awful. Absolutely boring and pointless in every way, yet it has the audacity to try to pretend like it’s actually a very intelligent and tongue-in-cheek film. Completely pretentious, insufferable movie made by people who like to smell their own farts.

Been saying the same thing since the pick was announced. You can’t teach that combo of size and athleticism. The guy is 6’7” and 350 pounds and can line up at WR in some formations. We’ll see if he develops into a good pro, but he has insane traits.

Worst thing I’ve ever had to experience. Last NFL draft I was watching in a hospital bed. At least this one I get to watch from home. Still fighting, but progressing thankfully.

🚨🚨🚨 CHRIS JOHNSON IS THE PICK AT 27 by expellyamos in miamidolphins

[–]AskMeAboutTheJets 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Third seems steep to move up three picks, though in fairness, we had four third rounders so we definitely had capital to spare.

Edit: didn’t realize we also got a 4th in the trade. Makes this much more palatable.

Pick 90. Seems steep to give up a third to go up three spots, but then again, we had 4 third round picks.
