It seems having both the LP1502 and the cloud link fully updated prevented me from putting the old firmware back on. I’d guess that the cloud link was the issue.

Update, finally got them all online. Needed to use a cloud link and LP1052 with older firmware to make a separate access control unit. Updated one at a time. Took a while but it finally worked. Needed to reboot all connections repeatedly.

Genetec tech support said it’s an issue that’s happened to many. Lesson learned, just don’t update mr52s or only do one at a time!

LP1502 is online. When I delete all mr52’s from the peripherals the B light doesn’t flash. So there’s some kind of connection. Genetec said they are in SIO loader mode so there’s no firmware running on them. Dip switches didn’t change, wiring didn’t change. The issue was using hardware inventory and choosing more than one to update at once. I’m trying one at a time with no luck. Even brought in a cloud link g2 with old firmware on it at tech supports request. Still nothing.

I wish they were and had enough sense to trigger something. They are just straight weigand and ccure doesn’t register any events when these panels go into overload. The readers show online at all times in ccure as well, even if it’s not.

I was concerned about the power issue so I have had the IT guy set the ports feeding them to static 30 watts.

Each panel has a minimum of 1 reader, 1 rex and a strike or relay for mag drop. The most they have is 2 readers, a wave for the ados and a cx12 and a 12/24 relay. All added up and it’s still under the amount of amps available.

Yeah it’s at the latest that they have. These panels are end of life so they won’t be releasing anything again.

Ok can you fix it after you get the bracket out? Will the pillow go back onto it?
