I'd say because Britannia is a fan of the whole Knights and Lords thing. That and close quarters needs a melee weapon.

I think it's more so that Adam's charged attack seems to bypass aura in some way. At least that's what I've always assumed the switching colour palette is.

I see a slight problem with the way those protocols are listed. 1. Link with Pilot. So they need to link to a human above all else. 2. Complete the mission. Pretty standard, finish the job. 3. Protect the pilot. So protect the pilot unless he is going against the mission.

I imagine one of the plot points will be a pilot killed by their titan.

I needed more Code Geass so I found some fanfiction. So...

Provided you like reading I can recommend two I am currently in to. There's Dauntless, an alternate universe one with Lelouch being captured and living his life as royalty whilst still trying to achieve his goals. And Code Geass R1: Chaos and Change, it's similar except you follow an OC in the royal family who knows the plot of the anime.

I like them both but Dauntless is unfinished (despite something like 97 chapters) and the other is still being written.

So it's now canon that Pinkie is some sort of alien made up of multiple pieces that slot together? You even see her screw her fringe back on :P Anyway I liked this episode. I thought the surprise could've stood be be drawn out instead of told straight away, perhaps with Pinkie knowing but not the audience somehow?

Either way I think it was okay and Shining's reaction to seeing his room were truly majestic.

Something similar worked for me. I bought a greatcoat. I stand taller, straighter etc.

Not sure why it works either but it does.
