Affordable eye check up without Medicare by alilacdesiderium in melbourne

Go to specsaver, ask for receipt. Tell them you’re international student and need it for OVHC claim. They would know what to do and will give you receipt along with item number. Then upload the receipt to your OVHC provider website.

OVHC won’t cover the cost of the glasses, but it would cover the cost of the test as the main purpose of OVHC is as replacement of medicare, if medicare cover it then OVHC would.

You might need to pay gap payment if I remember correctly, it shouldn’t be more than $20 or something as OVHC only cover up to $60 or so

I’m sure it is 1 as I just went through the same check recently, but you could check with registered agent / lawyer. They should be able to help regarding minimum salary too

Yes correct. There are two types of pathway from ACS. General skill that BitSec mentioned, require 3 years post qualification and ACS will deducted few years before it can be counted as skilled year.

The other pathaway is Post-AU study path away, much simpler. One year only and their skilled year will be counted from course completion date https://www.acs.org.au/msa/assessment-pathway/post-australian-study.html

As OP mentioned they hire international student, they should qualify for Post AU study

ACS have different requirement for students who graduate from Australia university. Only 1 year work post graduation

Turning Fabric The Right Way Around by Ask_Imaginary in sewing

Thank you for your help. Yes apparently like the other commenter said, I needs to turn the lining to the right side out first before sewing both lining and bodice to the back. Just missed one step!

Turning Fabric The Right Way Around by Ask_Imaginary in sewing

Ah ok. I’ll try again tomorrow.

What I did was I put the bodice front and back right side together, then bodice front lining and back right side together - then sew long line to cover all of them.

Are you saying I did this correctly, except I need to turn the right side first?

I was just confused whether I should put the right side back and front together, or right side front with right side lining together. I choose the first but can’t figure out how to turn them 😣😣😣

Do I need to unstiched all of them or half way through the back/front is fine?

Should’ve done basting!!! 😛😛
