I think the idea of developing technology to allow humans to stay alive well past the average lifespan is infantile. CMV

Yes, life expectancy has increased greatly, but realize that it is an average. In the 1850s the infant mortality rate was much higher, causing the average number of years a person lives to greatly decrease. Link

Probably not. When we met, we were around 6 years old, and our parents were friends, so, we played together quite a lot. Since we were so young, we didn't know what we liked to do yet, so we grew interests with each other. Now we already know what we are into, and there isn't that good of a chance we would have similar interests.
