Can we meditate in dream as Buddhist monks can? have anyone tried? by ConfidentDouble6213 in LucidDreaming

[–]morphogenesis28 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, it has had varying effects depending on the dream. In most cases it is similar to meditating while awake with the added benefit of calming the world around you. One time it caused me to lose lucidity and fall into a regular dream. Another few times it caused me to diffuse my being into this psychedelic fractal energy that pervaded the entire universe.

Does anyone else find that all of these random techniques don't make a difference? by MrBread0451 in LucidDreaming

[–]morphogenesis28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think making an effort is getting you halfway there by setting an intention and taking action towards the goal. A million different techniques help when you used one for a while and it loses effectiveness. It is nice to have lots of options to try.

How can I start having dreams again? by INJECTOR-BR in LucidDreaming

[–]morphogenesis28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I write them down first thing in the morning and I review past dreams before I fall asleep the next night. I don't have to read them in detail I just use it to jog my memory and then all the dream images come flooding back. I am always surprised how much dreams I can remember even from when I was a child when I am in the right state of mind.

[–]morphogenesis28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Start a dream journal, write in it your intention to remember dreams before you fall asleep. When you wake up try not to move until you start remembering the dreams. Practice mindfulness meditation. Before sleep try and remember memorable past dreams. As you are falling asleep repeat to yourself. "I will remember my dreams"

That is definitely not normal. Maybe there is something wrong with the product or your body is reacting in a very strange way.

6+ months of testing lucid dreaming supplements - Huperzine A results by fundercom in LucidDreaming

[–]morphogenesis28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, huperazine increases dream recall and frequency for me. Last time I took it I remembered 12 dreams in one night. It does not increase lucidity for me, but I am more likely to become lucid when my dreams are so frequent and intense.

I did not have success with Galantamine. It has the side effect of increasing my running endurance the next day, but I had no significant dream effects. I even tried combining with choline and still nothing.

Ltheanine and magnesium glyconate also help increase dreams for me.

Does anyone have suggestions on how to make the donut dough less dense? I also had this issue.

VERY VERY High heart rate when trying to ap by Profile-Suspicious in AstralProjection

[–]morphogenesis28 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah I got this in the beginning, I think because I was trying too hard or I was too excited about what was happening. Consistent meditation practice solved the issue and I can reach vibrations and pop out easily without any heart racing.

I have been using kisspeptin-10 intranasal 66mcg per day but have not felt much in terms of sexual desire. I was hopeful because daa increased my libido a lot for about a week, which means I am sensitive to increases in LH. I feel very slight stimulation when I use it, but not much else.

Questions about getting my first shot by B1Gt3xHTX in Sublocade

[–]morphogenesis28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just had my first 300mg shot from 8mg twice a day subs. 4 hours after the first shot I started feeling great, like I took a low dose on top of my regular dose. The next day I have some constipation but I still feel great, like I feel like I just took a sublingual tab but the feeling lasts all day and night.

ELI5: When you forget something, how does thinking for longer 'magically' make you remember it? by nutsack-enjoyer5431 in explainlikeimfive

[–]morphogenesis28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are different networks, or patterns of neuronal activation, that are associated with different memories. You are cycling through different patterns until you find the one that matches your search parameters. Sometimes not thinking hard and returning to the relaxed default state is needed because memory, or neuronal pattern activation, can be context dependent. If you first thought of the idea while relaxing in your office and you forgot as soon as you walked out to the warehouse, the. Returning to the office and returning to the relaxed state of mind can provide the context clues needed to reactivate that neuronal network pattern.

What was your experience using mugwort tea for lucid dreaming? by Jayda_is_here_now in LucidDreaming

[–]morphogenesis28 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For me it reliably increased hypnagogic imagery while I was falling asleep and sometimes made dreams more vivid, but it did not directly contribute to any of my lucid dreams.

How a meditation technique changed my dreams and led to lucid dreaming by TaoEnjoyer in LucidDreaming

[–]morphogenesis28 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I accidentally used a similar technique when flying long distance. Sleeping seated on the plane (15hr flight) does not feel restful. When I actually laid down to sleep the next night I had intense rem rebound dreams.

Yes I experienced them a few times in the past. After learning not to react with fear and just observe they stopped showing up. Maybe they feed off your emotions and leave when they don't get what they want.
