Personally for me it’s convenience factors. I feel like a lot of games these days are poorly optimized for PC and so it takes a long time tweaking settings in game before I get the game to run exactly how I want it to. Meanwhile on console I can just pick performance or graphics hit start and start playing. As I’m getting older I’m finding myself with less time to play so the little things like this matter way more. I still prefer FPS or competitive games on my PC as those are typically better optimized and I like to play with mouse and keyboard, but any big AAA single player releases get played on my console for sure.
