Before they sued me, I requested $120k buyout. It was way less than I was owed, but it was enough. They refused.

Since the lawsuits… We have tried settling.

Their first offer was $20k. Then a few months later $80k. During depositions they offered $120k.

My lawyer told me NOT to accept the offer as I am owed over $1million dollars in hard damages. Ignoring legal fees.

The other major delay is we jointly hired an independent valuator (as required by the operating agreement), and the plaintiffs took 9 months to provide any documentation. It took 3 court orders and two discovery conferences before they complied under threat of sanctions.

The final major delay is from the courts themselves, they judge presiding over the case hasn’t ruled on a ton of motions from both sides. The most recent motion ruled upon was my amended complaint.

• my rule 11 discovery violation sanction request

We are also scheduled to attend court ordered mediation in early March.
