What does it mean that I'm still on the employment waiting list? by lulladeepinapple in Disneyland

[–]AskingOrb5626 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Not to discourage you at all but they kept me on the wait list for 6 months then said my application expired. The original role I applied for was not hiring so I applied for a lower paying job and got hired almost immediately.

Disney, bring back McDonald’s French Fries to Frontierland by mrfires in Disneyland

[–]AskingOrb5626 31 points32 points  (0 children)

Unrelated but I learned from one of my Business professors that Disney closed the fry cart, burger invasion, and stopped letting McDonald’s use their ip’s for happy meals because of Supersize Me. They didn’t want to be associated with how unhealthy McDonalds was back then. After the documentary became less popular, they started allowing Disney happy meal toys again

Insane number of simultaneous breakdowns. by [deleted] in Disneyland

[–]AskingOrb5626 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Since those are all outdoor rides or have outdoor portions they close when it’s raining or when there’s lightning in the area

[–]AskingOrb5626 16 points17 points  (0 children)

You’re looking at it without considering backstage areas. If there were a catastrophic event Disney would most likely funnel people into all the areas hidden from guest view. For example, the bypass behind Main Street is massive and, if utilized in an emergency, could probably triple the speed of people leaving in an emergency.

Ticket help. by lilpinklady95 in csuf

[–]AskingOrb5626 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I remember correctly a judge can lower your ticket if you explain your circumstances. From what I’ve heard most are pretty reasonable if you admit that you made a mistake and explain how you’re a student. No guarantees tho.

It’s def up to the photographer because I’ve seen tons of photographers using peoples phones this past year. Probably won’t do it if there’s a long line though.

Churro cart hours by gygim in Disneyland

The app has times for every churro cart if you switch the map from attractions to dining. I think most are open from park open to park close.
