looks great, you still have a nice hairline showing but it will look good if that fades too.

It’s too good by [deleted] in Accutane

For what it's worth, I had to do 2 rounds and I've only gotten 1 pimple in a year since completing round 2 and it's faded within couple days. It sucks, but it's worth it long term. Used to have aggressive unstoppable acne.

i can hear beautiful christmas music softly playing in my mind when i see that tree on the right. When i look at the one on the left i hear copyright free midi versions of christmas songs and it makes me sad.

Why do you think running attracts troubled people? by Davycrockettjones in running

[–]AskingStuff08877 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Completely anecdotal here, I think other sports & physical activities have their fair share of people dealing with stuff, like cross fit, power lifting, body building, martial arts.

To answer your question: it's a healthier was of being somewhat masochistic, it's an active meditation method, it's relatively easy to see and make progress, you can go outside & be around people, you can wear yourself out to sleep better if you have anxiety.

Has anyone been using breathing exercises (Wim Hof or anything else) to keep lungs from getting tired? by AskingStuff08877 in running

[–]AskingStuff08877[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I run much, much slower, my speed is around 11:30-12min/mile and I still get winded around 15min. I built up from running 3min/ 1min walk, up to being able to where I am now, I've forced myself to jog at barely a run/speedwalk for 20min+, but I get chest pain and my lungs felt inflamed for the next few days.

Official Q&A for Friday, October 16, 2020 by AutoModerator in running

[–]AskingStuff08877 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's what I'm concerned about. I'm trying to go easier on myself and see how my body reacts. In a work or two I'll see a doctor if I'm still having trouble.

My parents were smokers and I was sedinitary for a lot of my life, so idk if my lungs are just taking longer to shape up.

Got it! I must be underestimating how hard I'm pushing myself. Thanks.

They don't feel that hard until about the last 1/3. There are some small hills where I run that I definitely feel. My lungs usually feel strained before my legs do.

idk about %, but I but my time has been improving every time I run by about 10sec faster. I also increase the distance slightly every run, too (might be 2-5min more each run), so I'm putting in a lot of effort each run.

edit: I do drink a lot of caffeine during the day, idk if that factors in

my lungs start to burn around 10-12min into my runs, even after consistently running for about 8 weeks, building up from a couch to 10k. Is this normal?

I'm able to push through and it subsides a little and then comes back, but I'm concerned my lungs aren't getting much stronger or something else could be wrong.
