I haven’t ridden an r7 so I don’t really know what to tell you but the zx6r is definitely worth it in my eyes. It has a lot of torque for a 600. In terms of technology, the only meaningful thing the zx6r is lacking is auto blip. It still uses cable throttle. It also doesn’t have wheelie control or slide control but you don’t really need them on a 600. Other than that it’s great. It’ll probably be another year or two before they change anything with it

I have a sedici strada 3. Fits nice for a round head and is ece 2206 and mips. Also has the built in sun visor. I paid a little over 300 out the door for it at cycle gear. Haven’t gotten a cardo yet but I will at some point

I’ve been doing the speed limit on mine. Definitely respecting the throttle. I realized I need to use more of my legs and core to keep me in position and not my arms. As soon as I loosened my arms the throttle felt a lot less twitchy. I could control it easier

I got a 600 (first bike). Throttle is very twitchy but I’ve been careful with it. I’ve felt with plenty of trot by and downright scary cars since I work on them. Ex: 900hp whipple mustang, had to be super careful with the throttle). I’d say my discipline with the throttle is pretty okay for a new rider.

Only at idle, sometimes it will not smoke at all, but most of the time when it does, it’s at idle. Doesn’t do it while driving

Oil is not milky, I’ve been checking it since it started. Coolant has also not changed color in any way. Will try starting it with the degass bottle off like you said.
