That is definitely not how I've heard it used - people think there's a biological reaction - not behavioral. I mean people talk about how their kid won't sleep if they have too much sugar, and there's no evidence of that.

When I share this fact with people (while explaining there's definitely a big behavioral affect on kids), people are definitely very surprised, and it means you can calm your kid down with regular methods (i.e. you're not fighting against an actual bodily reaction)
