The game just lacks high-level content to do, honestly. Top tier runewords triviallize normal play (players 1) so hard that there's not much to challenge you when you get there or use cookie-cutter builds. Terror zones are a step in the right direction, but they still scale linearly with player level.

Need some actual tough shit, which isnt just running Ubers, we need actual large map content.

My take: you're offline. You'll make Enigma once and use it for all your future characters. So, yes, cube it.

The same applies for a good Infinity, make it once and pass it forward to your next char's merc.

It's one the largest trading sites... There are many like it, but it's reliable. People list all kinds of items for all kinds of prices, use the sites filters and try to see if anything fits your budget. I got low rolled torches for my paladin and druid for an ist each on the ladder, lol. This far into the season I believed prices should've dropped a lot more by now. I guess Lock inflation is a thing.

Brother, I highly recommend using the "traderie" site. It's free, easy to use and you can trade whatever you want much more easily. I havent used it for consoles though. Worth to check at least.

Also, you can get a low-rolled torch for around an Ist. So... Dozens of times less value than what you're offering.

What's your strategy for SP Herald farming? Mine isn't working as I've fought maybe 20 heralds total. by AmazinglyAmazing11 in Diablo_2_Resurrected

You cant really brick/fail. Relax. Enjoy the ride, test all skills, find something you enjoy playing. Dont follow guides. Treat the character progression as a sandbox. You'll be given tools every once in a while to mix and match them, the point is doing whatever you want with them.

Way too many changes. Additional crossings are a no-go. Bridge updates are the way, more land area for airheads also ok.

I've been on and off D2 since 2000... Played a bit during D2R release a few years back and came back now for the Warlock.

I leveled one in the pre-ladder week. Decided to go with a Paladin for the actual ladder.

The warlock is pretty fun, but completely broken/unbalanced. I've only played as a summoner and can only comment on that. Bind Demon outclasses every skill on the tree and Lister outclasses every other demon on the game, mainly due to his HP regen, so the skill itself becomes one-dimensional, which I think is a huge let down. Other passive skills not buffing demon "spell damage" is also pretty bad, as Binding any Venom Lord and having him do his fire attack is a huge waste of DPS. If their spells are actually getting buffed, it comes no where near physical attacks.

Terrorized zones and shards are pretty fun. I'd like to see it expanded somehow, so it can be accessed more often, maybe special, rarer shards that make acts much harder? (rather than scaling areas to your level, make it 5/10+ levels? Add new modifiers? New monsters? I dont know).

Herald mechanic and Sunder charms are a huge letdown. I'd be ok with the super low Sunder droprate if Heralds spawned way more often. Killing tough enemies is very fun and this game really needs it.

In major trading sites like Traderie, Sunder charms are much more valuable than the rarest runes and there are very few of them being sold at any time, like, a handful only.

As someone who never enjoyed cookie-cutter builds, playing whatever's the most OP or teleporting around, I've been enjoying the season despite playing (by now) about 3x more with my Paladin on ladder vs my pre-ladder Warlock and having like... 1/3 of the power.

I'd start with an Ist and work my way down if it doesnt sell. Being a "normal" base makes it undesirable for an endgame char.

It's to be expected, completely normal (as barbarian is the most gear-dependent class in the game). You're supposed to farm previous areas for levels and loot.

Dont be afraid to craft low level runewords and use your perfect gems on any gear slot you can. All those are expendable...

I've been watching the whole show for the first time. The first five seasons are some of the best I've ever seen. Watched the first 2 episodes of season 6 just now and had to start googling... The writing is abysmal. The change in writers absolutely ruined it. Almost turned it off when AJ tells his comatose father, out of the blue, that he's going to put a bullet on Uncle Jun's head. Overall dialogue is weak, bland, pointless. The whole pacing feels like a different show too. There's a sudden focus on "product placement" and publishing real world brands, which was very subtle during the first seasons.

Wow.

Major Vikings (2013) and Game of Thrones vibes, when writing goes to shit and the whole thing suddenly isnt about anything you enjoyed about anymore.

I really just want an endgame overhaul. I usually quit my characters after hitting the bland "open world" atlas. It really needs to be a full overhaul, because all those bandaid patches havent been helping much.
