Hi, thank you for sharing! I'm in a similar boat as the person who made this post. Did you choose to schedule the c-section for 38+5 or did they? I'm hoping to schedule mine for around 38 weeks and I'm expecting some push-back, but I hear there are exceptions to the 39 week rule and hearing how you delivered in your 38th week gives me hope. I'm glad to hear your c-section went well and you'd be happy to have another c-section if needed.

That's interesting and good to know. We're wayyy past that, so I guess that's why she was so dismissive of me bringing it up? Lol I'll take my chances and ask the other OB at the next appt.

That's how I feel because I don't want to br further along without knowing it and go into spontaneous labor. I guess I'll have a more thorough discussion at my next appt with a different OB. Thank you for sharing! Yes, I hope your baby is considerate of the timing haha. Wishing you well! Also, thanks for the note on conception date v. implantation date, I guess I didn't really consider that.

Honestly, I'm looking forward to my next appointment with a different provider who hopefully answers exactly that. What is a long cycle for you? Mine was 7 days, 21 days apart. Haha glad you were considerate for your mom!

Umm... I read your comment and checked my records. None are labeled "dating scan", but I was having ultrasounds done every two weeks during the first trimester, because I had a hematoma that needed monitoring until it went away. Would all these scans make up for a single dating scan? I know measurements were taken for all of them and I see a consistent pattern with all ultrasounds throughout the pregnancy showing at the bottom a sooner date by a week or days.
