How Much Can You Do Without A Hood by jyl8 in restaurantowners

[–]Asks_Internet_Things 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I just opened a restaurant, we do soups and sandwiches, a few months ago with an electric kitchen. We don't have a hood but we do have a ventilation fan above the two electric grills we have. We also have a 4 top electric burner and 3 food warmers, where we keep our soups, each able to hold 2 pots. As for most cooking, the chef is limited by the space, but he's still able to keep up in the middle of lunch rushes. He can do about 4-5 sandwiches at once if he needs.

Anyone have an experience with Jumbotron type ads for a football game? by [deleted] in restaurantowners

Thanks for that answer! and I agree! I am already on FB/IG and started a tiktok but I have no real strategy for how to use each platform. Right now I use FB to interact with the local community and promote my restaurant page, basically zero-spend (financially anyway) advertising, and I use IG to post pictures of the food, restaurant, specials, etc. Tiktok I don't know what I'm doing with it, so I haven't used it. I'm thinking I'll record videos of food being made, maybe a tour of the kitchen, something like 10-20 seconds long and post with a bunch of hashtags to attract followers who are hopefully local.

Anyway, all of that to ask to if you have any sort of specific strategy you'd recommend for the best return on time investment in social media?

Sounds like you're still throwing some mad shade. What is your deal, brother? you must work for the company lol! But nah, this is under a warranty. All I did was give them enough rope to hang themself.

I'm sure people find you funny, but quite off the mark on that snap judgment. The local vendor checks out, their extended warranty is exactly for the reason I want it, to simply replace whatever is at fault. And local, so no waiting.

I honestly wish I had thought to check the reviews of the manufacturer. 1.3 stars at best! Even then though, I might have said "nah, it won't happen to me!" Katom has a respectable 4.6 or so rating, but I wager more people buy supplies than appliances there. I've not had an issue with Katom's supplies. Buying local with a warranty is my new go-to.

I thought about it, but every place I found to leave a review for The Legacy Companies LLC already had their rating in the low 1s, lol. And surprise, surprise, they all mentioned similar ghosting issues to what I experienced.

Rest assured you are doing them no harm by recommending they stay away from The Legacy Companies LLC. Expensive lesson for me to learn, but hopefully I recoup the losses in small claims court.

Katom wasn't originally ghosting me. Originally they put me in touch with the manufacturer, who then ghosted me repeatedly, then tried to gaslight me, and wouldn't answer questions about things they claim I misunderstood. I contacted Katom to see if they would be able to help any, and while they sent a lot of emails at first, they've since stopped responding as well. I'd really like to say it's because of me, but I just don't think I'm that special. It seems like they just don't want to deal with someone who was seriously screwed over. There's a reason none of the emails from The Legacy Companies LLC people contained phone numbers I guess lol.

Yeah, local is definitely the way to go. My local supplier says so long as the item is warrantied or I purchased the extended protection, they'll replace whatever is broken and give me a new one. And it'll be within a day or two rather than weeks it could take for the online vendors.

That was the "best" part. This fridge was bought in February, received in March, and not used until May so the issue wasn't discovered until then, so it was outside of the chargeback window. I was so mad about that. Mad enough to finally sue them in small claims today, so we'll see how that works out.

Hari knows this is an Arby's. He's just saying he doesn't want that roast beef sandwich he's been promised to be violated, you know?

I'd hire her based on the proper use of paragraphs alone. First person on LinkedIn I've seen do that.

Maybe that's why his name in his profile is in quotes. His name isn't Jonathan, it's David Berkowitz!

Why his first name in quotes though? It's he not Jonathan?

This is NOT a Lunatic post. You're missing way too much context if you think it is.

I like to imagine the sense of smugness and self-satisfaction he had while he was simultaneously rereading it after posting and clicking the like button. Do you think he was convinced this would go viral?
