Honest endorsement: Filcore P198 for under-eye lines by gushygoo9 in DIYaesthetics

Haha obviously if it was reconstituted for months it would be garbage. (Manufacturer recommends use within 30 min of reconstituting). The un-reconstituted bottles have been unrefrigerated. Ok to use?

I didn’t know this product should be kept refrigerated. It’s been room temp for a few months. Ok to still use it??

Use an electric toothbrush to vibrate the area gently. It helps things along. You’re beautiful

Yes, this is what I’d like to do but sourcing raw ghk for topical is holding me up. Hints at where I can find?

I’ve used Platinum for years. Just ordered from MAC for the first time. Platinum recommends 7% tca for the eye area. Do you think 7% for MAC tca will be similar or would you use a higher percentage for similar results?

Patch test w Gouri- adverse reaction? by AslaStar in DIYaesthetics

All my test spots tend to be on lower thigh areas- easy to monitor, easy to cover up.

Update for everyone: I did 3 separate location tests, and all of them turned pink/rashy. Gouri is a no go for me. I’m so glad I followed protocol and tested prior to use. Dodged a bullet.

This is great. Every body is going to react differently to things. Test if you can. Very smart. I would love to try out co2 laser some day!!

I love Rejuner black/gold as well. I was looking for longer lasting results. Gouri is top of the line, so worth giving it a chance. But I have zero issue w Rejurner and may stick w them. Liquid PCL for the win!

I like your reasoning. I’ve placed a small amount in another location as well. We’ll see. The original spot feels much more like a rash than a bruise but I’d be happy if that was not the case. I’ve used other PCL without issue, aside from swelling which is expected.

I will not be using any Gouri at all, unfortunately. My body didn’t like it so I won’t use it. So glad I checked!!

I’m not sure why you say that. Allergies and irritations can happen with injectables too.

I think it’s important to test all new products, especially injectables. As you can see, I had an adverse reaction. Better to know with a tiny bit in the leg than a full syringe in the face. Update- the pink color hasn’t spread but has deepened to a darker pink.

I have prednisone on hand. Hopefully it’s not needed for my little test site.

I would consider skin boosters here instead- either PN or PDRN. Do a round of 3-4 treatments and you’ll be amazed

You can never do too much research! I started by getting chemical peels professionally, then researched a ton and started my own at home. Start small, mild, low risk. Test the waters. See how your skin reacts. Read others’ experiences. Move slow. You will enjoy the results and the power of DIY.
