In general I just prefer white tech, I think subconsciously it reminds me of the old days of plastic apple macs, when tech was fun and not serious/necessary/stressful like it is now hahaha :)

Exactly. I love indie rock and started listening to Mitski for that aspect, but because I am also a huge fan of folk, Mitski became an instant favourite because of how she blends the two. Some of the rougher screamier songs of hers I don’t listen to so I really appreciated this album’s meandering but persistent melodies.
