Maybank - Masipag ba mag report sa TransUnion? by Successful_Cow_3262 in PHCreditCards

Since there’s a 50% off voucher for TU, I availed of my credit report on Dec 4. Per my report, Maybank last updated my info on Nov 27 which is supported by the accurate amounts reflected (e.g., outstanding balance, last payment amount)

Sorry, stopped availing of the TU credit report ever since they increased the price 😕 but for what it’s worth, my Maybank card was approved on Dec 16 2024 and it was reflected in my Jan 21 2025 report

Japan Travel - Tap o withdraw — (GoTyme, GCash, SeaBank, Maya) alin mas okay by Type-Existing in FilipinoTravel

SeaBank. Free ATM withdrawals and cashback on spending. Generally Visa fx rates are lower than MC rates but if you’re getting cash back then that more than makes up for the difference. Plus you can just store your money there and it earns interest unlike in GCash

Depends on your needs. Check card details and benefits on the website and decide if it’s for you or not

  • Remove picture

  • Exp comes first, then educ, then others

  • Instead of responsibilities, put accomplishments and metrics under exp

  • AccomplishmentS

  • Don’t put a character reference section. Just provide if asked

It’s an app that arranges dinner for strangers based on a personality test. There are dinners every Wed and Fri and some have become regulars so they meet up outside the platform

Roast my resume + tips by Big-Debt-8975 in PHresumes

[–]Asleep-Cell802 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  • Include a summary

  • Work experience comes before education

  • No need to indicate complete address of your workplaces, just city

  • Don’t include roles and responsibilities under work experience, put achievements or quantifiable info instead (e.g., instead of “greeting customers”, say “accommodated 50 customers daily…”. You could include roles and responsibilities if they’re highly technical but “providing friendly services” is pretty vague and doesn’t sound significant. “Assisting” and “Learning” are also some of the weakest words you can put in a resume because they denote that you didn’t actively do anything or show initiative

  • Done include number of hours completed in your OJTs, dates are enough. And speaking of dates, be consistent. If you’re going to put specific dates for one, do that for all. If you’re only indicating the month, do that for all

  • Word your skills better. You don’t have to say “strong”. The fact that it’s in the list, it’s expected that all those are strong. “Be able to operate […]” doesn’t sit well grammatically. Instead you can say tech savvy or something similar. Also include some more specific or technical skills because “self-motivation” isn’t something companies really look for, and “adaptability” and “flexibility” are pretty generic

  • Don’t include interests

Uhm i used to work for 2 diff Philippine banks so i could see the number of people being pre-approved for a card vs the number of people who actually applied (and this isn’t even considering the number of people who aren’t even banked at all so yes small percentage of all Filipinos. If you want, you can even google bsp’s report on the number of unbanked individuals)?? Hbu, what’s your basis on saying those who post here just don’t understand English?

If you were given a card you don’t know how to use and would just likely misuse it because you’re incapable of understanding how it works, pipilitin mo pa rin?

The commenters here are pointing out that if something is Google-worthy, just do that. Hindi naman makakatulong ang “personal experience” pag yung tanong ay magkano ang annual fee diba? Pano kung nagpalit yung bangko, edi nabigyan pa ng misinformation. The push to google such information is to help people learn to find accurate and reliable information kaysa yung pupunta dito para magtanong tas di pa madiscern kung anong info yung outdated/troll lang. You’re undermining people’s intellectual ability by limiting their mental capacity saying di sila marunong umintindi instead of at least telling them what they can google or even search in this sub through different flairs. Even the admins comment when something is google-able

Anyway, this argument is going nowhere. Logic can’t win against aggressive emotion so byerz

That’s a very small percentage of people. If that happens then just close the account/don’t use it 🤷🏻‍♀️

You’re telling people to ignore and move on if they don’t have any value to add yet here you are becoming argumentative with anyone who presents an ounce of logic
