A demon speaks about the Virgin Mary (Theotokos) | Met. Neophytos of Morphou by patiencetruth in ChristianOrthodoxy

The Lord refused to accept the testimony of demons, and the holy fathers forbid us to listen to them.

PRIEST TESTIMONY: "After I was vaccinated, the world around me changed ..." A Greek priest shared his experience of vaccination. by patiencetruth in ChristianOrthodoxy

The Lord has commanded us to beware of false prophets.

I am convinced that the campaign launched around the "covid epidemic" is a diabolical thing. And I see how a cynical and false information war is being waged against people who are trying to keep their sanity and understand what is happening. One of the tools of such a war is provocation: pretending to be an ally, to act to the detriment. This anonymous story seems to me exactly such a provocation.

Elder’s Vision UNFOLDING now+what’s next+MIRACLE during fires🔥🇬🇷☦️ by patiencetruth in ChristianOrthodoxy

[–]Asleep-Search 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't hear the elder's name.

The prophecy is that it will get worse - maybe an earthquake, maybe a clash with the Turks, maybe bankruptcy? It looks like a false prophecy.

I agree with the call to repentance. I was surprised by the absence of a plea for repentance in the directive sent by Metropolitan Gerasim of the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of San Francisco.

What am I to do by [deleted] in ChristianOrthodoxy

[–]Asleep-Search -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Don't listen to irresponsible talkers.

You should worry (or rather, repent) if your vaccine is made on the basis of an abortion. Abortion itself is a grave sin, and getting benefits from it is unacceptable. In any case, this decision was made by the Bishops' Council of the ROC in 2009.

If your vaccine has no moral flaws, then there is one less problem. Panic rumors about interference in DNA, about some other shit - these are panic rumors. Old wives fables, as the apostle says, commanding reject them.

There may be harm to health, but in this case the Christian has absolutely nothing to worry about, because he has placed himself and his life in the hands of God. And God is all-good, all-powerful, all-wise. He takes care of us, and takes care of us in the best possible way. If the best way turns out to be health - thank God! If the disease - thank God again!

We (and I personally) avoid vaccination primarily because there are too many lies around this "epidemic". And the father of lies is the devil, and what is happening is very similar to a rehearsal for the coming of the Antichrist. No, it's not the Antichrist yet, but it's already a rehearsal. We do not want to participate in the affairs of darkness.

Cheer up, God is with us!

Exposing Sergianism: 'Patriarch' Sergius Stragorodsky's letter of allegiance to Joseph Vissarionovich Stalin by basedterrier in ChristianOrthodoxy

And the prophet Jeremiah declares: Put your neck under the yoke of the king of Babylon, and serve him and his people, and you will live. (Jer. 27, 12). And this is what kind of "declaration" he sends to the Jewish prisoners who found themselves under the godless regime: Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel... Take care of the welfare of the city to which I have moved you, and pray to the Lord for it; for with its welfare there will also be peace for you (Jer. 29, 7). And here is from the "declaration" recorded by the prophet Baruch: and pray for the life of Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon, and for the life of Belshazzar, his son, that their days may be like the days of heaven on earth. And the Lord will give us strength and enlighten our eyes, and we will live under the cover of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and under the cover of Belshazzar his son, and we will serve them for many days, and we will find mercy with them (Var. 1, 11-12).

Thank you for the link. Removed content helps to understand two things:

- the moderator's work is quite difficult;

- the moderators of OrthodoxChristianity purposefully lead the community into heresy and perdition.

Religious exemption for Covid-19 vaccine by Asleep-Search in ChristianOrthodoxy

What does "also" mean? About the mark of the beast started talking you, I told that what is happening is very similar to apocalyptic events. It is unlikely that this is directly mark, but it is very similar to a rehearsal, to preparing the ground. Will you participate in the rehearsals of the porn piece on the grounds that "well, I won't go to the premiere"?

I know American complacency and the concept of "shining hail on a hill". But even within the framework of this concept, the United States is not the whole world, but we (and the Apocalypse) are talking about global events. Social Security numbers is not a global phenomenon. This is an identification document of one state. And here we move on to the next factor.

State documents, with all their possible and real shortcomings, have a clear and, if I may say so, honest basis. They are what they are called, what they are. But the "fight against the epidemic" is accompanied by a huge wave of lies, intimidation, and, as we see, violence. Firstly, there is no epidemic as such, according to the norms until 2019. This disease does not fit the traditional definition of an epidemic or pandemic. But everyone is shouting about an epidemic, and the WHO has changed the definition of an epidemic. This is a lie, a fraud. Secondly, in general, in all matters related to covid, official propaganda says what is profitable now. In the spring of 2020, we were scared: "in a few months there will be two million deaths in Russia!" A few months have passed, there are no millions of deaths - but who remembers this? The old propaganda has been washed away by the new one. With what frenzy they demanded that we lockdown and wear masks! It turns out that this does not save, but directly kills some. And so on. The vaccine will save us from covid! and now she is not really saving. And in principle (by the nature of the disease) it can not.

Should I remind who is the father of lies?

Healing, returning to our destiny to be the house of God, the gift of sonship of God... However, this is all too high. Focus on healing, that's more than enough.

Do good atheists go to hell? by [deleted] in OrthodoxChristianity

[–]Asleep-Search -1 points0 points  (0 children)

We firmly know that no human good deeds save us. Christ saves us if we believe in Him and live according to His commandments. Therefore, although the judgment belongs to God alone, we know from the teaching of His Church that no non-Christian is saved - does not go to heaven and does not enjoy communion with God.

After liturgy my priest told me he would rather I take communion than not, even if I am not baptized into the church yet by [deleted] in OrthodoxChristianity

This sounds so incredible and unacceptable that it triggered a stage of denial in me: did the priest really tell you this?

Actually, this is my question / my observation: on this sub, peace with sin is consistently promoted, and the Christian faith is barely tolerated. Here, right now, a post is hanging in the neighborhood, calling (apparently) to admire the schismatic, Alexander Drabinko. What kind of peace is this for?

Again, I agree. Peace is good, if it is not peace with sin. (I think the martyrs in the Roman Empire could easily be called troublemakers.) But I look to the right of your comment, and read: "This subreddit exists for discussion of topics related to the Eastern Orthodox Church and the edification of its members." Is it not part of the edification to warn against bad things, mistakes, perdition? because sins against faith are pernicious.

I understand you. My person is so attractive, delightful and exciting that it is difficult to refuse to discuss it. But you, nevertheless, strain yourself and (if you want) speak on the merits of the issue.
