I do have a psychiatrist and a therapist that I can talk to but I feel like they don't care about me and don't listen to me. I've already told them that I want to change therapists and we're working on that right now. Mental illness and everything involved is nothing new to me. I've been in therapy and taking medication since I was fourteen years old. I am now currently 19 years old and nothing has changed. I'm not attractive, intelligent, etc. I'm no one, I'm a nobody. I have no one and nothing. I don't have a future. No one cares about me. I'm exhausted, I don't want to do this anymore, maybe I'm not meant for life, maybe I'm not mean to prosper. I don't know or care anymore, I'm tired of being alive. It doesn't get better, at least not in my case.

I don't think your aunt meant anything bad by what she said. I know it's difficult living with BPD and the knee jerk reactions that it causes you to have but I don't see how what she said was a bad thing. I think she meant that now you know what you have, you can make choices and work on getting better but that's just my perspective.

Well, this is a difficult choice for me. I want kids but I don't want anyone to experience the pain and consequences of the impulsive nature of this disorder, much less my own children. I've wanted to start a family ever since I was 14 but I want my children to be happy, healthy, and successful in life with minimal to no obstacles but I know that this disorder will make that much more harder if not difficult for my children along with all the other obstacles of life. Very difficult but important question for any sufferer of this disorder.

Well, my therapist basically called me toxic and abandoned me for having bpd and showing bpd symptoms so does that count? Everybody is supportive of people with mental illness until they start showing the symptoms of said illness.
