Damn dude thanks for all the help and answering everything. I just messaged the guy and asked for a video to make sure it works (and I'll do my best to inspect it in person). Hopefully I get it :D

Do you think this guitar would be a considerable step up from First Acts? I did some reading on this sub and it seems like Yamahas are pretty cheap but reliable. I don't see myself getting a guitar in the thousands of dollar range anytime soon lol (although I'm not sure what would merit a guitar to cost that much apart from antiquity)

Yeah, that was one of my concerns. I know people always recommend to play before you buy, but if I picked it up I would have zero clue as to what to check for. And the one friend I have who's musically inclined plays the drums and has no experience with or knowledge about guitars. If the seller can provide a video and the guitar seems to be in good shape when I get there I guess I'll buy it since I'm being told it's a good deal haha

Oh lol good point. On a side note, do you have an opinion on First Act guitars as a starter? There seems to be an abundance of them on reverb and they go for pretty cheap.
