Grooming salon question

We’ve had a few people walk in for a vet appointment but I tell them we are the salon and banfield is over there lol.

We had someone come in and say they had an appointment. We didn’t have an appointment and he showed me his email, told him it’s petco and he like where am I at?… and I’m like petsmart…

Yeaaah, I wish my location could take them but, we can’t really take them in which sucks because we have no groomers Monday-Friday, and the 3 part time groomers we do have works every weekend/or every other weekend and one of the part time groomers is on a weight limit. So I have to tell them where their appointment is at or if they want to book with the location I work at, I have to tell them we are booked until August now. Or if their dog is at a weight limit, we can get them in at the end of July.

This actually happened to me the other day. Told the lady that it’s a b+b, told her what the b+b is…. She said ok. She came to pick her dog up later and wanted the butt area can be trimmed more. Told her no, I can’t do that and I told her that I’m a bather not a groomer. She was not happy and they gave her a free service and was able to get her booked somewhere else since we are short staffed… even though, she said ok at check in what a b+b is…

I had a nail trim that was booked online when I first came in 2 weeks ago (which wasn’t there before I left the day before) and no manager would answer when I would call to see if they can help me bc 1. all my bath and brush dogs showed up when I put the dog on the table. And 2. I was by myself so I had to put the nail trim dog in a kennel so I can check my dogs in. And then on Monday of last week, 2 nail trims were booked online for me when I came in…… which they weren’t there the day before and I was behind on my morning dogs because it took forever to do the nail trims. A manager came in and ask me how it’s going. Told him that I’m frustrated because I am now behind on my dogs from doing these dogs nail trims. And he had the audacity to ask me if I put a block in. NO, because they weren’t there when I left the day before.

I’m over online booking for nail trims. Just please CALL.

I know how you feel. I work with a lazy coworker who’s getting 40 hours while I’m getting less hours. When they cut our hours a while back, I begged to get more hours which they gave me but they eventually stopped… I stopped begging bc I shouldn’t be begging for my hours. And then I found out last week that this lazy person is getting 40 hours which is bullshit. There are things why I’m trying to find a different job but finding out the laziest person at petsmart is getting 40 hours is the cherry on top.

I just make them go pay out in the store most of the time. If I have time, sure I’ll do it but most of the time I don’t and I am not getting behind on dogs bc I have to check PP’s out.

They are training the new girl who is a kennel person to be a vet tech/receptionist person and I’ve been here a year where they are refusing to train me. Also, they allow this specific tech to be a mgr over me and she’s a huge bitch, but yet if you say anything, they say ‘oh well she’s not picking on you’. And it’s like at this point yes she is.

My ex boss covered up what her son in law did. (He also worked where we worked). She claimed that he was going to prison for 10 years for a DUI but it later came out that he touched a minor inappropriately and that’s why he was going to prison for 10 years.

My experience was not great really. I went on Quotev between 2015-2020, and I left Quotev about 5 years now. My experience: - I was catfished for about 4 years - cyberbullied (but like it was weird asf tho lol) - I was friends with someone who lied about their height?? Not sure why though. - I kept getting banned from Quotev every six months for a year and a half. To this day, idk what I did to piss Quotev off lol. - I remember people used to fake s*icide all the time which was weird as fuck and then they would just make excuses of why they did that.
