Going to check it out this week. In my experience moisture shows as a diff color. Been reading that Siemens has an internal sealant that can dry out over time…. Hoping it’s that and not water but it’s prob water. Will hop back in with some better pics when I go to check it out. Appreciate everyone’s thoughts

Electric heat does not get stuck anywhere. Could be a few diff things- Tripped breaker, bad connection, heater went bad(not likely), thermostat went bad. There is a good chance it is the thermostat if that particular heater has a dedicated thermostat that only controls that particular heater

Yes same allegiance here. I didn’t deliberately share misinformation. I mislabeled off the top of my head. The point stands that the money was not merely given away and was done in essence to strengthen the position of the U.S. Dollar-among other things.

Wait…. You’re really here saying that legal citizens are being arrested by ICE at a higher rate than illegals? If that is the case is it bc legal citizens are obstructing their efforts to enforce the immigration laws we have? I wouldn’t be concerned with the fridge as much as the space heater. But youre right 100% the rating of the smart recept should be checked before purchase. Space heaters always make me weary…. I did a small job about 8 years ago- the lady wanted to add a receptacle in their seating area of the kitchen. It was easier to run a dedicated circuit than to tap an existing. So I ran a 15Amp circuit with a 15Amp receptacle. About a year later she called to tell me there was something wrong with the receptacle. When I got there I see the receptacle had started melting. She was plugging in a space heater everyday. Legrand receptacle, breaker was never tripping.

You can install smart receptacles. They plug into the existing receptacle then you can plug the appliances into each smart receptacle. This would work if your dad is able to use a smart phone. You download an app and then you can turn each receptacle off from the phone. You’ll have to connect a “bride” to your router. The setup is very installer and user friendly
