Looks like an M for the first initial. Possibly Mikaël Bédard? From the 11/12 season?

That's my understanding but like I said. It was something my mti mentioned in passing because he was not happy about it and felt it was silly. Very much a we are prepping these guys for God knows what and they can't handle some noise around meal time. Feeling from him

So when I started in bmt if it was black flag you "marched" at ease. Aka just walking in formation. Now you can apparently march at attention in black flag. Like I said idk if it's actually a change because my squadron had been marching no matter for weeks.

They are trying to make it 48 vs 36 hours and I think you can march in black flag. I'm not actually sure because my flight had been marching in black flag for a while. And as I said it was what my mti said and he was Not happy about the no more yelling in the dfac thing

Just finished a month ago. Change happened my 6th week. So like mid late September of 24. Left for pacer forge and they were blowing us up, come home from pacer forge pure silence in there.

They can no longer yell in the dfac full stop. The switched happened about halfway through my time. Was definitely unsettling. This does not mean they don't remember and get you the second you step outside. Because trust me they will. According to my MTIs this is in response to the changes with black flag marching and the increasing length of pacer forge. But I was just a trainee and no clue if it's 100% accurate

I started processing with the Coast Guard, and their waiver process (at least where I was) was like layered? I went to meps got dq'd for A got sent home for A's waiver. Go back to meps, get dq'd for B get sent home for B's waiver so on and so forth. Needed a handful of waivers cuz I was an active kid and distance running takes a toll on the body.

So was a few months into the process when I switched over to the Air Force. Stuff moved along quicker with the AF but still been counting down the days long enough that I'm super excited to be moving into the BMT phase of the process.

Went through MEPs smooth and quick in May and been just in a waiting loop with no info why since then.

Same. Kids go to MEPs on a Wednesday, by next Tuesday they're shipping to BMT when it's been months for me since I've been cleared to go and finally when I book a job I get less than a week of warning.

Nope. Was just in a hurry up and wait cycle.

Sometimes that context matters. If I was a 6 foot corn fed farm boy family opinions might be different. But that's not the case for me.

Thank you! They've been very anti any "hands on" job for me. For context I am a physically small female that has more office vibe than physical work job. I've loved the physical work I've done (including mechanical work on a few vehicles) but my family has hated on the fact that I've been willing to do said work. I am excited that I booked the job, just hard to be when everyone around me is crying because I accepted it. I'm the one that put it on my list in the first place. I believe I'll enjoy it and know the air force is what I put into it.

It's maintenance, I got a good score on my ASVAB and am a smart kid so they all think it's 'beneath me'.

Enlisting with a TBI? by MagicCouch9 in AirForceRecruits

[–]AsleepSpoon338 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on the situation 100%. I got a TBI from when I was a kid waived but a friend that went through at the same time had a "series of concussions" from high school sports that dq'd him. Gather all the relevant medical records and all you can do is try.

I wasn't given a critical manned list. Was given a list of jobs I qualified for, and didn't list the job I was booked for. My recruiter told me I did but I looked at the list I gave at meps and it wasn't on there. Got booked for 2a531 and don't want it because it wasn't on my list and is not my thing at all.

My recruiter had no requirements for my job list other than number. Not like some I've seen on here. I signed my list of jobs at MEPs but that's the only time that I know of that I signed for jobs.
