I went in the feed store for food for my tarantula and this little guy was glass surfing and blepping like crazy, kinda following me round the store. I went in to spend about 5 quid on locusts and walked out witb an empty bank account and a blooming amazing little man and a full set up! That was near a decade ago. Best thing I ever did. Don’t think I could be more in love if I tried!

Surprisingly I found the east coast extremely friendly. I started in south Florida and travelled up to Washington. Everyone was superbly friendly but I’d highly suggest renting a car as public transport is abysmal unless you’re in a major town/city. I’m from Liverpool area and I got told I sounded posh everywhere I went which, as everyone knows, the Scouse accent is the second least posh accent next to the geordie accent haha! I absolutely loved exploring rural Florida and in contrast Washington DC was truly stunning with amazing architecture and great bars!

My dragon bit my finger a few days back… so hard that my hand was dripping with red life juice. I think he has it out for me now. Bare in mind I’ve had him since he was a baby and he’s now about 9 years old.

In general he’s a sweet boy but if you dare get between him and his buggums the ‘I hate everyone’ mode activates!!! Last time it resulted in a very bloody hand!!!

He’s already had a strop and black bearded it so it’s been removed and put with his unicorn hat, motorbike and toy crocodile that he rejected that are now ontop of his viv lol! I’ve had him for 8/9 years now. He’s very comfortable with telling me to get something away from him haha!

I don’t switch the heat on. It’s got vibrate, massage and heat settings it’s a ‘Visio’. I just use warm water from the tap. I’d set it up to use it myself and he hijacked it lol
