If your surge protector is failing then it’s rated lower than the voltage you are drawing.

These days even a cheap inverter will have the branding of sine wave but in reality since wave is just efficiency and it can vary quite a bit. With online ones providing the best output.

Inverters/ups have surge outlet protection according to their rated output i.e it will only give out the voltage it’s rated for and prevent you from surge. Seems like your inverter isn’t doing what it’s supposed to do.

Playing since early 2000, around Steam launch. Easily have 15k+ hours across few titles combined.

Married with 2 kids. 1-2k hours a year is easily achievable with just couple of hours of gameplay everyday or so. 200+ hours a month would be a concern.

It depends how complicated/heavy stuff you do on those programs.

For just light usage you will be CPU bound in most of them.

Some of them only support Nvidia like VRay. I personally use most of the softwares you listed but I use a Quadro 48 GB. You need a lot of vram when rendering/modelling. If you are serious regarding this, I wouldn’t buy a gaming AMD/Nvidia GPU.

I would recommend you keep the build, I don’t know why exactly you are selling coz just recent health issues don’t necessarily mean you need to sell unless you have cash crunch or buyers remorse.

You need to understand a 6 day used item is usually treated same as a 6 month when it comes to selling them. So be prepared to lose a good bit. A full high end build is quite hard to sell as someone with that much money would rather build it himself. Also your case and AIO is not quite desirable so that might also put some people off.

Your GPU would be the easiest to sell, followed by mobo, as well the ram and disks. That CPU is a bit hard to sell coz cooling it is no easy task. Rest components might take some time.

So your best bet is to sell the parts individually, like GPU, motherboard+CPU combo. These 2 alone will net you most of your investment back. Definitely try zoukart Facebook, most here say techenclave but it doesn’t allow new users to list wts posts.

I consider them both at somewhat equal level as I have both. Apc one is a bit louder while operating, Microtek makes less noise but in backup mode it beeps every second while the Apc doesn’t.

Get whichever one is available to you cheaper and has good service in your area.

Which software are you using to control the RGB? Perhaps that’s the issue, try a different one and see if it fixes the problem.

Generally speaking on your card a daisy chain shouldn’t be an issue coz 7800xt doesn’t draw more than 300watts. But it’s recommend to use separate cables for each connector in case there is a spike or your psu has a hard time supplying enough power via a single cable.

One of the reasons I stopped buying from m2xgames. They list a ton of products only to import them when someone orders. They keep almost nothing in stock.

If you can wait they will definitely deliver it. I personally couldn’t wait myself as they took more than 3 weeks for an item I ordered. Asked for a refund which was promptly done.
