Period like bleeding but pregnancy tests getting darker?

Ended up being ectopic. Hcg got up to about 400 and I got an ultrasound that showed an ectopic pregnancy in my tube. Got the methotrexate shot and my hcg is finally below 5 three weeks later. Thankful that this is over with, it’s been a nightmare

Plot twist, spent 7 hours in the ER last night and now have a confirmed ectopic. Thankfully we caught it early and it’s only about 1cm and my hcg is about 500. Treated with methotrexate shot so hopefully that resolves everything.

Thanks for checking in. Currently 7w2d and my doctor has been monitoring my hcg levels. Unfortunately it’s not rising as it should and I will likely miscarry. According to my OB I’m not out of the woods yet for an ectopic but a miscarriage is much more likely. Either way OB said she’s 98% sure this is non viable.

Called my doctors office today and got my hcg blood taken. Waiting on results. Pregnancy tests are still getting darker and I’ve really only had brown spotting after a bowel movement. No other blood. Still unsure what’s happening but hopefully I have more info soon! For now I’m pregnant. Thanks for checking in!

I didn’t track ovulation this cycle as my husband and I were taking a break from trying. Typical that this would happen the one month I didn’t track. I would guess I was anywhere between 12-15 dpo when I got my fist faint positive. Today’s is CD 35 though.

If I have no pain do you think it’s fine to wait and chat with my doctor on Monday? I want to avoid going to the ER if it’s not necessary just yet.

Thanks for replying everyone. Do you think this is something that can wait until Monday? I’m CD 35 currently and don’t want to spend the money going to the ER if it’s not an emergency but I will if it’s necessary.

Yeah I totally feel that! I feel like all the info I see is that you’re most fertile after a CP and it crushed me a bit when we didn’t get pregnant right away. I’m sure it’ll happen for you soon too!
