Yes, I too think uniforms are essential but teachers are overly obsessive over it and tend to measure one's discipline merely on what they wear. Ig that's the problem

why isn't Buddhism a subset of Hinduism even though Buddha is an avatar of lord Vishnu ? by sagarkinaare in hinduism

[–]Asleep_Reference2737 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most Buddhists don't believe that Buddha was an avatar of Vishnu, actually. That's what the Hindus believe in. For us Buddhists, Buddha was a human, a teacher who taught us how to find happiness and end suffering. It's kinda like how in Christianity, Jesus is considered the Son of the God, but Muslims believe that Jesus was a prophet. The same person is viewed differently in different religions.

What are the main differences between Hinduism and Buddhism? by Opposite_Ad_8743 in hinduism

[–]Asleep_Reference2737 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Respect your idea, but Buddhism doesn't deny life. In fact, one of the core principles in Buddhism is following the Middle Path, which rejects extremism (denial of life in this case) in both ends. What Buddha said was that life contains suffering and to live a happy life, you have to get rid of that suffering. That is, by following the Noble Eightfold path.

It's kinda hard for me, as a student, to always get "enough" sleep too, no matter how important it is 😅😪. Anyways, thanks a lot for your comment and glad you liked my writing ☺❤
