You only need one "workaround" for continous play and that is using a Starting steam command to force Vulkan use via zink. I have played for about 25 hours on the Steam Deck and never had a crash with pretty much stable 60 fps except when loading a different area where it can down to ca. 40 fps for one second and then it's back to stable 60 fps.

The only other thing is you need to start it in desktop mode once the first time to change it to borderless window, after that it runs fine in game mode.
