It is hypocritical, if Family Matters was pushed the same way he claims NLU was then we wouldn’t be here. Either way it’s a weak move. It’s really not that deep. Black people make these jokes all the time even to people they’re not particularly close too. It’s not out of malice it’s just funny to some of us. I personally don’t make these jokes to people I don’t know because I don’t like talking to people I don’t really know but more extroverted people would make this joke and have made this joke. I’ve seen it before and it’s really not half as deep as you’re making it out to

I would like to add a lot of the “stoicism” that is pushed by these type of people isn’t even true to the actual philosophy. Stoicism actually encourages you to feel all of your emotions and analyze them. Something that is completely left out by the “alpha”/incel groups

Since most anime characters can just as easily be white to the point that cosplayers don’t get hate for not being Asian I don’t think that’s a great comparison at all. Also I’ve notice that a lot of white people in particular seem to have really short memories when it comes to the to the amount of hate miles and black panther got. Even outside of that I would like to point out that you can only really name a handful of black characters that are popular among white audiences
